This is a convenient shortcut key for selecting or deleting characters in bulk on a Mac.
remove everything from the textbox
In this case, there are two ways (maybe there are others…?)
①Move the cursor position to the far right → “command + delete” Delete everything to the left of the selected cursor position
② “command + A” Select all text → “delete” to delete
With either of these, you can erase the text in the text box at once.
Remove right or left
If you want to delete all at once, you can use the shortcut key below.
[If you want to erase the right side] “shift + command + → (right arrow) + delete” All the right side disappears
[If you want to delete the left side] “shift + command + ← (left arrow) + delete” Delete all the left side
summary
If you remember the shortcut keys, the operation will be shortened and convenient.
